SUNNYSIDE SCHOOL COUNCIL
School Council is an excellent opportunity to work closely with all the fantastic people invested in your student's education, share your insight and perspective, and be more richly involved in the Sunnyside school community.
In addition, Council advises the principal and school board on matters relating to the school and shares information and ideas with Alberta Education.
We also represent parent and community perspectives in school decision-making.

SUNNYSIDE SCHOOL SOCIETY
You may not know there is a difference between school councils and school societies. School societies are distinct and different legal entities from school councils. They meet separately and operate independently of school councils.
The artist formerly known as the Parent Society, our school society is called the Sunnyside School Society.
We are a group of parents and guardians incorporated under the Societies Act to raise and manage the funds used to enhance learning at Sunnyside School.
